The Detroit Tigers have reportedly acquired starting ace David Price from the Tampa Bay Rays, according to FOX reporter Ken Rosenthal.

According to CBS’ Sports Jon Heyman, this is a three-way trade between Detroit, Tampa Bay, and the Seattle Mariners. The Tigers reportedly receive Price, the Mariners will get outfielder Austin Jackson, and the Rays receive pitcher Drew Smyly and second baseman Nick Franklin.

Rosenthal also reports that the Rays will receive shortstop prospect Willy Adames from the Tigers.

Price, 28, has spent his entire career with the Rays, and won the CY Young in 2012.

This season, Price is 11-8 with a 3.11 ERA and 189 strikeouts. Opponents are hitting .238 against Price.
