Despite a rough offseason, Colin Kaepernick is now a lot richer.

According to ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter, Kaepernick has reportedly agreed to a new six-year, $110 million extension with the San Francisco 49ers, which means more bicep kisses for the bay.

Kaepernick’s $61 million in guaranteed money is also a record-setting figure – per Schefter.

Here’s what 49ers’ general manager Trent Baalke had to say regarding Kaepernick’s new ginormous contract – per Schefter:

“Colin’s hard work and dedication have played an integral role in the recent success of the 49ers organization. His work ethic, leadership, and on-field production have positively influenced our team, and we look forward to his continual growth in all areas.”

Kaepernick’s deal comes a few months following an alleged sexual assault incident at a Miami hotel, however, no charges were filed. And Baalke expects the matter to “soon be over.”

Since taking over at starting quarterback for San Francisco and replacing the ineffective Alex Smith, Kaepernick has posted a 21-8 record.

In 32 career games, he’s compiled 31 touchdowns and 5,046 passing yards, to go along with 937 rushing yards and nine touchdowns.
